Alternative Investment Platform

Alceda’s  alternative investment platform AIP serves as a securitization platform for a variety of alternative investment underlyings, such as hedge funds, private equity, real and illiquid assets and is intended for sophisticated and demanding institutional investors such as family offices, asset management firms, insurance companies, pension funds and high-net-worth individuals. Our objective is to address the customer’s legitimate interest in reducing the high costs of acquiring external product solutions, especially since these generally also include premiums for issuer as well as default risk.

The platform’s open architecture helps to address previous difficulties in consolidating investments. Uniform reporting, professional cash/liquidity management and significant experience in how to handle gates or side pockets of the underlying funds – these are just some of the platform’s benefits. Due to the platform’s compartmentalization, issuer and credit risk can be excluded, while allowing for optimal tax treatment and full compliance with all regulatory stipulations.

Our exact, web-based product reporting fulfils the expectations of investors while complying with the reporting and disclosure requirements for insurance firms (pursuant to the German Insurance Supervision Act (VAG)) as well as pension funds. The asset categories covered include moveable and fixed assets as well as intangible assets such as patents and industrial property rights. In other words, there is practically no limit to the types of securitisable assets available! Our basic package is fully customisable to individual investor needs, enabling us to offer optimized solutions for all customer segments.

Besides  the basic package, we also offer a range of one-stop, supplemental services, such as access to recognized alternative investment specialists via a “modular” system. For example, our alternative investment experts can put you in touch with alternative investment specialists for legal due diligence and investment due diligence, as well as for reporting and risk management.
